This weeks weird car of the week is the Chery QQ from China
The Chery resemblence to the Daewoo Maitz is more than just a coincidence, rumor has it that the makers of the Chery QQ hired some of Daewoos staff between the time of Daewoo's Colapse and Dawoo being bought out by GM. GM have since tried to stop Chery making the QQ, but Chinese copyright laws say there is no problem with the QQ being sold in China where it outsells the Maitz 4 to 1. There was never a patent applied for the Maitz in China.
